English Teacher

We are looking for enthusiastic and inspirational teachers who want to be part of our dedicated team.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements :

• You must have a CELTA, Trinity TESOL, or equivalent initial teaching qualification
• The role is open only to those with the right to work in the EU. If you are a UK citizen, you will need either to hold dual nationality with an EU state or already have a Spanish NIE number.

If you are open to teaching a range of levels and class types, including young learners, this could be the opportunity you are looking for. All teachers work in one of our centrally located centres and in local schools teaching young learners or teens.

Successful candidates will be required to :

Deliver classes professionally and in a friendly manner – this applies to all aspects of the class including personal presentation, planning (both short-term and long-term), materials, techniques used etc.

Be an ambassador for IH Madrid and keep students informed about their options for continuing their language learning with us.

Keep up to date attendance records and write reports on student progress where required.
