Our client WD40 is seeking a Logistics intern :

Basic logistics functions :

Stock control : minimum levels, blocked items, upcoming POs, and shortages
Manual stock adjustments
Control and management of BOMs / Jobs performed in the warehouse
Review of Ship To and PO errors and coordination with the Customer Service Department and Warehouse
Administration of documentation generated by import operations
Management of local purchase orders

Customer functions :

Update customer delivery terms

Incident management (delivery issues, requirements, etc.)

Quality issue management with the central office in the UK

Address customer quality requests : certificates of conformity, etc.

Collaborate with internal customers (Sales and Marketing) regarding logistics support

Warehouse :

Ensure product data (code, size, weight, etc.) is accurately recorded in the warehouse

Manage compensation invoices for the warehouse : transport or warehouse breakages, and / or losses

Prepare inventories for monthly physical counts

Reconcile stocks with the external warehouse twice a month; and quarterly physical inventory

Open necessary IT tickets to resolve system issues

Perform other related activities as needed to support the Support Services Department. Act in the best interest of the company, applying the company's established values and code of conduct, and acting in line with its strategies and priorities.
