Mission

As aWelding Engineer your main mission within the area will be within the Manufacturing engineering department to guarantee the quality of welding processes ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and implementation of technical documentation (WPS WPQR....
  • Guarantee and improve the quality of welding processes by ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Ability to manage and interpret nondestructive and destructive tests following the applicable regulations in each case.
  • Manage and evaluate welding work subject to high quality standards (aeronautical or aerospace).
  • Coordinate and plan the welding work.

Necessary Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar with high knowledge in welding processes.
  • It is valuable to have the title of International Welding Engineer (IWE).
  • It is valuable to have the title of International Welding Technician (IWT).
  • It is valuable to have the title of international welding inspector (IWI) or at least certain levels of ICS inspection that is inspection of welded constructions.
  • It is valuable to have the title of European Adhesives Engineer (EAE) or European Adhesives Specialist (EAS)
  • Essential computer skills spanning the MS Office suite of applications i.e. Microsoft Word Excel Power Point etc.
