The M&A Team in Iberia is growing and looking for a motivated, junior Consultant to join them!

The M&A team is currently going through a period of significant growth in the market whilst also servicing an existing large base of clients. Consultants in the M&A team work on a wide range of interesting projects including ESG management consultancy, advisory and due diligence covering decarbonisation, EHS, climate risk and social / human rights aspects.

To support the successful delivery of our growth ambition, the team is looking to appoint a motivated, detail-oriented entry level Consultant with a passion for sustainability and who will support with the delivery of EHS audits to a range of clients from the financial services (including private equity) and the corporate sector (o&g, pharmaceuticals, etc.).

Our offices are in Madrid and Barcelona and we offer flexible working arrangements. The role will require frequent travel (mostly within the country) to the work site.

  • Environmental, health and safety (EHS) audits to support mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance audits, supply chain audit programs.
  • Audits on environmental, social, governance (ESG) issues, to help companies and corporations identifying reputational risks and opportunities for sustainable development.
  • Supporting project managers in requested activities such as research for information, writing reports, proposal preparation, etc.
  • Delivering multiple project tasks or components, including proposals
  • Ideal 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in EHS (HSE) due diligence and experience or interest in developing experience in sustainability disciplines (ESG) as a consultant.
  • A Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or other relevant disciplines.
  • A specialization in energy or civil engineering or experience in the sustainability / carbon sector would be considered a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Working knowledge of English (C1) is required, knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus (preferred Portuguese).
  • Good knowledge of Spanish Environmental and EHS legislation . Knowledge of the international EHS standards will be considered as an advantage.
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently.
