Lead Application Security Engineer, Vista Technology - Spain Remote

Vista Security is a global team that ensures that security risks are identified and managed, and that customer trust is maintained by creating a culture of security in which engineers are empowered via standards, tools, processes, and training to proactively address security issues. We foster a collaborative environment that embraces security without hindering speed and innovation while providing visibility into security risks and ensuring appropriate mitigation controls exist.

What You Will Do

• Develop and implement automation for tooling to integrate security tools to improve stakeholder experience
• Define and track key metrics to measure compliance with security standards, and create reports for various stakeholders
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide actionable recommendations for remediation in applications
• Manage and maintain security tools, including those for static and dynamic code analysis and vulnerability scanning
• Support Engineering teams in risk identification and remediation, including security architecture reviews and threat modeling
• Contribute to the development of security policies and standards, and ensure their effective implementation
• Independently deliver and / or collaborate on the preparation of reports, briefings, and documentation
• Recommend best practices for cloud security, especially Web Application Firewall rules
