We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Innovation Leader to oversee our Spunlace and Airlaid Technology’s product development team. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to organize and motivate a technical team, and a deep understanding of the value proposition of technical solutions. The Innovation Leader will be responsible for driving innovation, managing a team, and ensuring the successful implementation of new technologies in the spunlace and airlaid sectors. This role will report directly to the Chief Innovation and Marketing Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the technical team focused on spunlace and airlaid technologies.
  • Drive innovation and development of new products and processes in the spunlace and airlaid sectors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and production to ensure alignment and successful implementation of new technologies.
  • Evaluate and understand the value proposition of technical solutions and how to make them a reality.
  • Oversee the development and execution of project plans, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in spunlace and airlaid technologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the nonwovens industry.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
