The Company focuses on solar power project development, construction management, and project financing services with local professional teams in more than 10 countries around the world.

We are looking for two dynamic, junior-level Project Developers to support our growing operations in Spain.

Position Overview : This is a 360-degree position where you will work closely with all members of the project and business development team to help us identify new opportunities, grow the project pipeline, and manage projects from origination through to completion. One new person will focus on supporting in greenfield origination and land acquisition, while the other will focus on project management activities. Both roles require a technical background to ensure successful project development and to drive the growth of our renewable energy portfolio.

Responsibilities : In this role, you will be involved in :

  • Business Development :

Identify and qualify sites with high photovoltaic or storage potential - PV+ BESS;

  • Define and implement the commercial strategy to increase the portfolio of large-scale PV and BESS projects;
  • Participate in the development of the project portfolio with projects of proven feasibility and profitability;
  • Prospect and transform the sites identified into projects secured by Emeren;
  • Complete the signing of lease promises and leases as well as obtaining municipal deliberations favorable to PV and BESS projects;
  • Manage a network of reliable business providers;
  • Work in collaboration with the rest of the team and in particular the land development team;
  • Participate in the development of certain projects (obtaining authorizations in coordination with the project manager).
  • Project Monitoring and Management :
  • Regular reports on the progress of prospecting and site identification;

  • Pre-feasibility study of the sites in view of the constraints in force;
  • Maintain an up-to-date customer file;
  • Communicate with the project team on the needs necessary for the implementation of commercial action;
  • Monitor clients and landowners during the development phase of projects, maintaining the link between clients and Emeren.
