Architect Lead Ground Segment Software and Operations for Satellite Systems

Are you passionate about developing new solutions within the Space industry?

We are looking for an architect and lead of the ground segment software and operations for new satellite systems. You will lead the definition, implementation and team.

• 10+ years of relevant experience, 5 of which directly involved in the architectural design of software for mission control and satellite control of complex missions and constellations and / or its operation
• Experience in the definition of CONOPS for satellite communications missions
• Experience involved and managing the engineering process of design and reviews
• Experience with space standards (hardware, software, communications protocols) and regulations.
• Required Qualifications : Master’s degree in Aerospace, Telecommunication, Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience managing technical teams and interfacing different stakeholders
• Experience operating with mission-critical systems and with high levels of security
• Eligibility for security clearance of EU systems

Positions are permanent and full-time. Be ready to enjoy working in Barcelona, but also to travel from time to time to meet other people : our customers are from different countries, most of them in Europe; if you have a different proposition about your location let us know from the beginning and will decide together if feasible.

Our working “common ground” language is English, but feel free to bring your own language; working use of any of the local languages in Barcelona will be appreciated.
