WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
At GMV, you will be part of the Meteosat Third Generation team, working on maintenance, development, integration, and validation of operational processors.
Functions include :
- Software development (design, algorithm coding, and validation).
- Processing Earth observation satellite data at L0 / L1 / L2 levels for various instruments : optical, lidar, radar, radiometers, spectrometers, etc.
- Development of applications in this field.
- Implementation of scientific algorithms.
- Validation and verification techniques.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for software engineering graduates with knowledge of :
Algorithms for scientific data processingC / C++ & GNU toolsetDeep understanding of Unix / Linux systemsScripting (e.g., Python, Bash)Configuration management systems (SVN, GIT...)Profiling tools (Valgrind or similar)EclipseContinuous integration systems (Jenkins or similar)WHAT DO WE OFFER?
