WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

You will be part of our Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance Team, managing the Cyber Security Framework for BASF Group. You will work closely with our global data privacy organization.

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize risks to BASF's information assets, focusing on personal data processing.
  • Establish processes to implement appropriate cybersecurity controls.
  • Define group-wide cybersecurity governance standards based on a risk-based approach.
  • Collaborate with the global data privacy organization.
  • Facilitate operational risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Maintain a risk register and treatment plans with stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on risk management, especially in personal data processing, including new processes and controls.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity risk management.
  • Experience with ISO 27001 or similar standards.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, including risk aggregation and evaluation at an enterprise level.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to cybersecurity and data protection.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC are advantageous.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
