Responsibilities

  • Design : Standardize new products in mechanical design, conduct validation tests via simulations (FEM / CFD) and physical prototypes, perform pilot tests to ensure robustness, and support the Mechanical Engineering team.
  • Technical Calculations and Regulatory Compliance : Carry out necessary technical calculations (thermal, pressure, structural, etc.) and ensure compliance with standards (PED, ASME, etc.).
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement : Promote continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, PDCA, FMEA), implement new materials or technologies to optimize costs and functionalities, and stay updated with technological advancements and regulations.
  • Technical Documentation : Generate and review technical documentation such as manuals, BOMs, drawings, and validation protocols.
  • R&D Project Management : Ensure project objectives are met regarding time, cost, and quality; monitor and report project status; collaborate with cross-departmental teams; liaise with suppliers; participate in FAT, SAT; and proactively manage risks.

Requirements

  • Studies in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • Knowledge in piping, structures, and tanks design.
  • Familiarity with GMP (desirable), ASME, and PED standards.
  • Ability to read process and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ChatGPT, etc.).
  • Proactivity and willingness to learn.
  • Teamwork and effective communication skills.
  • Technical rigor and attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills and task responsibility.
  • High level of technical English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
