Senior Accounting Specialist (IFRS)

JOB OVERVIEW

Providing support and advice on international accounting standards (IFRS) to the subsidiaries in which the Group operates, as well as monitoring and execution of controls relating to the verification of the correct application of the Accounting Policy defined by the Group.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analysis the accounting treatment of contracts under IFRS and elaborate the accounting memorandum of the analysis.
• Participate in the process of implementing new IFRS accounting standards in the Group.
• Participate in the design of internal controls to ensure the correct application of the Group accounting standards.
• Participate in the process of establishing and standardizing accounting policies of the Cellnex Group and provide support to subsidiaries on its practical application.
• Analysis and evaluation of consolidated financial information.
• Participate in the preparation of documents for the Group’s governing bodies (Board of Directors and Audit and Risk Management Committee).
• Support for the disclosures required by the standard for the financial statements (half-yearly and annual).
• Collaborate in the calculation of Purchase Price Allocations (“PPA”).
• Assessment and analysis of the impairment of assets.
• Participate in the monitoring and coordination of relationship with the Group's external auditors in relation to the financial audit of the Group.
• Coordination with, Global IT, external consultants, and Integrations Dept to ensure timely and efficient implementation of all aspects and requirement in the timeframe stipulated in the accounting standards.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education

Bachelor of Business Administration, Economics or similar.
