Overview

As our new HSE coordinator for Wind and / or Solar projects, you will be part of our Development team within the Energy Global Business Area.

Ramboll is providing support services for a portfolio of wind and / or solar PV projects at various stages of development and construction. We seek a competent HSE coordinator capable of supporting across the full project lifecycle. You will support the Clients’ HSE managers for EMEA across multiple projects, mainly wind and / or solar PV. Your role will include conducting HSE audits, visual inspections, and supporting in shaping service deliverables. Your expertise in HSE within renewable energy will contribute to developing a crisis management plan.

This role offers an opportunity to influence the future of clean energy technology and promote sustainable, safe solutions globally. Ramboll’s diverse assignments involve collaboration with market players, joint ventures, and investments, often integrating other technologies. You will be part of our Wind Development team.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities

The successful candidate will ensure HSE standards comply with international regulations, client requirements, and Ramboll’s quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include :

  • Monitoring project health, safety, and environmental activities
  • Ensuring all project members and subcontractors adhere to safety policies and procedures
  • Preparing HSE requirements, plans, and supporting documents
  • Advising project management on HSE matters
  • Conducting site surveillance to ensure contractor compliance
  • Leading incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
  • Promoting safety awareness and culture
  • Reviewing HSE documentation such as contractors’ plans and emergency procedures
  • Preparing reports and delivering HSE training
  • Participating in HSE audits
  • Driving continuous safety improvements and developing crisis management plans
  • Tracking and reporting HSE KPIs

Your Qualifications

The HSE Coordinator will drive HSE strategy, ensure compliance, and promote best practices. Requirements include :

  • Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA, CQI are highly desirable
  • Extensive experience in HSEQ leadership, especially in wind / solar site construction
  • Knowledge of ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001), OSHA, EU directives, and global HSEQ regulations
  • Proven ability to develop HSE systems and foster safety culture
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in Spanish and preferably Portuguese; strong English skills
