Kineton is looking for a talented Durability Project Engineer . In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the durability and reliability of our high-performance road cars. You'll be responsible for defining, plan, and executes system and vehicle level Durability Validation Testing.

Main responsibilities :

Monitoring and reporting the status of the integrated Durability Validation Plan across the vehicle project;
Monitoring of the project Engineering BoM evolution and future changes;
Monitoring and reporting of Durability test results;
Raise concerns (QNs) related to issues occurring during the durability testing activity;
Ensure correct progression of Durability issues through the Practical Problem Solving process;
Agree and approve validation actions for countermeasures for Durability issues;
Highlighting and discussing critical items during Technical Risk meetings, Project meetings, etc.
Management of the Durability related project documents;
Reporting of the Durability status during formal and ad-hoc meetings;
Management of the Vehicle Testing Plan Budget during Vehicle Testing Phase;
Management of the high-level strategy of vehicle Durability tests (timing, resources, facility requirements etc.);
Monitoring and reporting the significance of tested components, in function of the Engineering BoM evolution and planned changes;
Support the management of each vehicle durability test control plan;
Management of vehicle testing related spending including, but not limited to, external tracks, facilities, exclusive bookings, etc;
Management of overall consumables planning related to each project.

Skills & qualifications :

A degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering is preferred;

Excellent English communication skills are required, both verbal and written;

An automotive knowledge of the vehicle and its main systems is required;

Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of Durability & Reliability theories is required;

Experience as activity planner is advantageous;

Must be proficient with all common Microsoft Office applications.
