Job Summary
As a Research Analyst, you will be part of our Operations team and report directly to the regional team leader. You will be an individual contributor but will also collaborate with Senior Research Analysts and Editors on projects and their professional development. Your role involves conducting research on internet and web-based media databases and producing high-quality reports on companies and / or individuals using publicly available and proprietary sources. You must ensure that reports and daily updates meet our standards for content quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness, adhering to The Search Group’s standards.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct research on internet or web-based media databases.
- Produce high-quality reports involving research and analysis in different languages. Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages is required : Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Lithuanian, Arabic, French, Polish, or Czech.
- Perform first-level quality control through peer review.
- Carry out watchlist database screening for due diligence checks.
- Provide input to improve report writing processes and team efficiency.
- Engage with the Research team across offices, seeking feedback and managing report delivery expectations.
- Stay informed about regional and industry trends.
- Partner with other teams to ensure the integrity of key products.
- Participate actively in ad-hoc projects and demonstrate a hands-on approach.
Qualifications, Skills & Education Requirements
A tertiary degree in Law, Political Science, International Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in due diligence, professional services, or similar report generation.Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages : Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Lithuanian, Arabic, French, Polish, or Czech. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.Ability to oversee and support other research analysts and monitor their work.Leadership and project management skills.Excellent research skills across all media, with a strong understanding of risk areas and compliance topics.Ability to conduct ad hoc and bespoke research into new areas.Proficiency with Office products, internet searches, and social media.Reliable in delivering reports on time.Dedication to continuous learning and a client-focused approach.High integrity and professionalism.This is a remote position based on the country where it is advertised.Please submit your CV or Resume in English.
