To drive commercial performance and strategic growth in the region, they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director for the EU region .
Position Summary
The Sales Director – EU Region will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team across Europe. This role will report to global leadership and play a critical part in achieving business growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction. The position is remote , based in Spain , with frequent travel to customer sites and regional offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the sales strategy across the EU region to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability goals
- Lead and manage the regional sales team , ensuring strong execution, pipeline development, and performance management
- Build and maintain relationships with key OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across both mature and emerging markets in the region
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, finance , and operations to align sales efforts with overall business goals
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed
- Drive forecasting, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership on sales performance, KPIs, and market intelligence
Qualifications
10+ years of sales experience in the automotive sector , with at least 5 years in a regional or leadership roleProven track record of driving sales growth and managing large customer accounts in a multi-country settingStrong understanding of automotive supply chain dynamics , customer requirements, and regional market differencesStrategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilitiesExperience in leading and motivating cross-border, multicultural teamsStrong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skillsFluent in English ; additional European languages are a plusBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
