We are seeking a dynamic social media manager to elevate our bar / restaurant business's online presence in Barcelona and directly drive customers to the bar and help it become an iconic spot in the city.

Project Overview

We're looking for a person who understands the hospitality and music industry landscape. Our business operates on a smaller budget, so we need a provider who can deliver maximum impact while being mindful of our financial constraints.

Key Objectives

  • Increase brand awareness in the local Barcelona market
  • Increase meaningful customer engagement across our social platforms
  • Effectively promote our weekly events and special offers
  • Most importantly – drive customers to the bar

Platform Focus

Our primary social media presence needs to be established and maintained across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok and others.

Content Strategy

We want to prioritize three main content pillars :

  • Event promotion and updates to keep our community informed about upcoming happenings
  • Behind-the-scenes content and staff highlights to create authentic connections with our audience
  • We need regular / weekly (sometimes daily) content creation (which can sometimes be done in-house by our team) that showcases the vibe and personalities and experiences of our live music scene.

    • Other Key Tasks

  • We need to update our website regularly with monthly calendar and new food menus and refresh the website
  • Graphics art support for new menus, flyers, posters, etc.
  • Management of paid ads and paid promotion on social media, google, etc.
  • Reach out to industry platforms to develop our presence on their sites (like TimeOut, EventBrite, TheFork, Barcelona Secreta, and all others)
  • Community management – responding to messages and posts and sharing / re-posting / linking / tagging customers and musicians and connecting and collaborating
  • Essentially, we need a one-stop shop for our online presence and digital marketing that will send the right customers to our venue.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is important

    We're looking for a Barcelona-based person or team with proven experience in the bars, clubs, and restaurants sector. Bonus points if you have experience in the music industry. We value providers who understand the unique challenges and opportunities of small hospitality businesses and can work effectively within limited budgets while delivering creative, engaging content.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a social media manager who thrives on creativity, understands local Barcelona culture, and can help a growing hospitality business build a strong community presence. We are looking for an individual or an agency that is passionate about what we do and will immerse yourself into our community.

    You must be based in Barcelona and be able to provide services via invoice.
