  • As our new Business Intelligence Architect, Inventory Management at APM Terminals you will indirectly help our local Asset Management teams be successful, through the creation and implementation of innovative BI dashboards, products, and KPIs. You will provide architecture consulting, design, and conception expertise within the IFS-BI environment, and as custodian of spare parts inventory related data intelligence product suite (Power BI, Smart insights, IFS lobbies, self-service, process mapping, (IMS) Inventory Management System, etc), with the design, deployment, and adoption of products, enabling organisational appropriate data driven decision making.
  • Furthermore, you will ensure all Inventory related KPIs and insights have purpose and relevancy, aligning business needs to user interfaces, across APMT business functions and functional leads as necessary, and providing fact-based leadership and influence in inventory related initiatives, through strong data analysis and insights. Includes adhoc analysis as and when required.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Success in this role will require the ability to find approaches to development that work at scale, across geographic boundaries, and while generating commitment through influence rather than formal authority.

Moreover, you will :

  • Know, describe, and implement good inventory management practices
  • Work with cross functional business and technical teams to conduct analysis for inventory related projects
  • Application design and configuration, both back end and front end. Translating the needs of the business into technical solutions; guiding GDA teams to develop desired concepts
  • Manage outcomes and performance improvement objects
  • Identify and manage stakeholders, finding out their needs / issues / concerns, giving immediate and sustainable solutions
  • Influence and drive transformational paradigm shift change.
  • Ensure continuous compliance, mastery and improvement of global standards delivering high business results.
  • ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, supply chain).
  • More than 5+ years of experience in similar BI architecture design role
  • Experience working with supply chain and asset maintenance data from ERP or standalone systems such as IFS, SAP
  • Proficient in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, power BI
  • Critical thinker with strong analytic modelling and technical skills, capable of analysing complex datasets and translating findings into actionable insights.
  • You have an analytical mind with ability to plan, manage, organise and prioritize, You are hungry for success, dedicated and persistent.
  • Demonstrated high soft skills as well as structuring, follow-through, and implementation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, with global multicultural appreciation.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing transformation initiatives within organizations.
  • This role is as a local hire, ideally based in Spain, but will consider other locations within European time zone.
