What you will do

The Technical Trainer Engineered Systems EMEA supports the established goals of the EMEA Technical Services and Training Department by delivering and developing training modules for instructor-based (face to face / live) and virtual (VILT) technical trainings for internal and external customers and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards. The Technical Trainer is participating in and facilitating the creating and monitoring of training services related processes to allow smooth cooperation with Sales, Product Management, Marketing and the other functional teams within the EMEA region.

How you will do

  • Develop and deliver trainings - Develop training content, provide theoretical and practical training sessions, instructor-led face to face, web-based and E-learning, keep track of training needs and inform sales and existing users about training offerings, contribute to the continued evolution of training.
  • Provide Technical Support - Optimize the support to our sales team and customers, train local technical sales teams to take care of customers.
  • Responsible for trainee administration - Ensure correct training and trainee administration; including updating calendar, registrations and issue of certificates as well as certificate validity and expiry follow up.
  • Contribute to training communication and promotions, such as planning, website, folders and announcements.
  • Support the development of Training Services tools and processes – Proactively support in the creation, monitoring and update.

  • Support regional training centres - Train and facilitate local regional trainers to ensure consistent process, as applicable, support the availability and condition of the training materials and samples, support availability and quality of the training room etc.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor Engineering degree or similar Education.
  • Knowledge of and experience with fire protection technology and / or mechanical applications and keep this knowledge up to date, preferably experience with gaseous suppression systems.
  • Knowledge of or experience with working at contractor level.
  • Trained / certified on relevant international codes and standards.
  • Strong MS Office skills, further experiences (LMS, Adobe Captivate, SAP, Salesforce, AutoCAD) would be a plus.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of the organization required.
  • Negotiable English language skills are required.
  • Ideally further advanced language skills in other European languages.
  • Specific :

  • Travel frequently (approximately 6-10 days a month).
  • Main Travel Region : Europe.
  • Extended periods of standing while giving presentations and demos.
  • Applicant may be based at any European country or city with good international travel connections.
