The Role

We are seeking a technically driven and strategic Product Owner to lead the development of our data aggregation platform. Responsibilities include sourcing and managing data suppliers, defining API strategies, and building a comprehensive data ecosystem that delivers value through aggregation and deduplication.

Key Responsibilities

  • API Integration & Testing : Evaluate data supplier APIs, perform integration tests, and assess data quality.
  • Market Research & Supplier Discovery : Identify new data suppliers and build supplier databases.
  • Vendor Communication & Relationship Management : Maintain contact, negotiate terms, and resolve issues with data suppliers.
  • Data Quality Analysis : Monitor data streams, assess quality, and implement validation processes.
  • Strategic Planning & Documentation : Update roadmaps, create technical specifications, and prepare stakeholder reports.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Coordinate with development teams and align data strategy with business goals.
  • Industry Analysis : Research market sectors to identify opportunities and advantages.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of API architecture and hands-on experience.
  • Experience with external APIs and third-party data sources.
  • Ability to evaluate and test data APIs for quality.
  • Strong analytical skills for industry analysis.
  • Experience creating technical documentation and executive summaries.
  • Ability to define and communicate product vision and strategy.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and vendor management skills.
  • 2+ years of product management experience.
  • 1+ years of development experience.
  • Understanding of development processes, planning, and execution.
  • Strategic mindset with experience in reporting.

  • Entrepreneurial background with business-building experience.

    Ruby Labs operates within CET (Central European Time). Applicants from any country within approximately ±4 hours of CET are welcome to apply to facilitate collaboration during working hours.
