General Accountant (Spanish Speaker)

Do you have experience in GL Accounting and are you eager to grow your career? Our client is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their growing company in Leganés, Madrid.

Tasks

Your responsibilities and impact working as a Senior Accountant will be :

• Record accounts payable invoices and reconcile them with existing purchase orders
• Reconcile incoming payments and ensure accurate recording
• Manage outgoing payments, including reconciliation of bank accounts, foreign currency exchange differences, and intercompany accounts
• Prepare payment suggestion forms, initiate the payment approval cycle, and execute payments accordingly
• Reconcile and book monthly payroll transactions accurately
• Prepare and submit statutory forms and reports for external providers
• Generate monthly reports with detailed analysis compared to budget and forecast
• Develop monthly forecasts and yearly budgets
• Maintain all accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Prepare financial statements and collaborate with auditors during the audit process
