We are looking for an investment analyst motivated to start working in a growing finance company.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Valuation of Non-Performing Loan Portfolios : Conduct valuations of non-performing loan (NPL) portfolios, analyzing their composition and key metrics to assess performance and risk.
  • Portfolio Analysis and KPIs : Evaluate loan portfolio composition, calculating and monitoring KPIs, metrics, and other indicators essential for portfolio management.
  • Forecasting Future Collections : Develop financial models to project expected future collections from loan portfolios, providing data-driven forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Pricing Options and Scenario Modeling : Create pricing strategies, scenario analyses, and sensitivity testing to evaluate potential outcomes under various assumptions.
  • Portfolio Performance Monitoring : Track portfolio performance against key benchmarks, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities to improve asset value.
  • Data-Driven Insights for Portfolio Management : Collaborate with portfolio management teams to provide actionable insights and recommend strategies to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Reporting and Documentation : Prepare detailed reports and maintain documentation on portfolio valuation methodologies, assumptions, and analyses to ensure transparency and consistency.

Requirements :

  • University degree or equivalent in an Analytical / Financial subject
  • e.g. Mathematics; Statistics; Economics)

  • Experience from financial products : consumer banking, credit lending or NPLs environment.
  • Work experience in top NPL management funds is an advantage.
  • Statistical experience in dealing with large data sets and data modelling techniques.
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office products , particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Very good English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge and / or experience in R programming is an advantage.
