Work Flexibility : Onsite

The Workshop Technician is primarily responsible for the correct repair of customer and Stryker equipment, movement of stock between repair areas, handling incoming calls, restocking consumables, and liaising with Customer Service. The technician will utilize technical skills and problem-solving abilities to ensure quick turnaround times for quality checks of loan equipment and repairs of failed items in customer environments. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining equipment status, and improving quality through suggestions, process improvements, and adherence to standard work to deliver on Stryker Technical Services.

What You Will Do

  • Manage daily workshop workload to meet demand and customer needs.
  • Evaluate and complete repairs promptly as directed by the team lead or supervisor.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service for quality checks of capital equipment.
  • Respond to customer and internal queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Provide reports and documentation on work activities.
  • Assist with ERP data entry, quoting, and repair processes.
  • Maintain technical skills through ongoing training and development.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards at all times.
  • Maintain ISO 9001 compliance in service delivery.
  • Provide technical support internally and externally.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and participate in annual inventories.
  • Report on repair and departmental activities using available systems.

What You Need

  • Fluency in the local language and at least B2 level in English.
  • Degree or vocational training in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of medical equipment preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data entry.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
