Position : Assistant Equipment Manager
- Liaising with container rental companies to acquire new contract for buying / leasing the container.
- Working on import plan with agents to reduce empty repo cost to the desired location.
- Manage all idling container assets in the region (including damage, sale / off hire) to reduce the operating cost.
- Timely approval of EOR, segregate units by grade wise, Upgrade units based on the shippers’ requirements
- Preparation and submission of MR collection / recovery report
- Meeting dept and organizational goals
- Liaise with FLOs, depots, leasing companies on pending MR approvals, turnaround of damage reefers, any disputes tt may arise esp from leasing companies after offhiring
- Ensure each depot to adhere to KPI set eg Inspection, repair cycle, etc.
- Ensure all FLOs promptly update their TMS container transactions within KPI set.
- Conduct regular audit with depots to ensure internal KPIs, repair standards / criteria are properly followed

Qualifications / Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of work experience from the same field.Any graduate preferred candidate from shipping industry.Good knowledge of MS Office - Excel and PowerPointStrong interpersonal communication (both written and verbal)Good communication and interpersonal skillsGood organizational skills and meticulousAbility to work independently and meet tight datelines.Able to communicate in English
