Responsibilities
- System Installation & Commissioning : Install, start-up, and commission robot vision systems at customer sites in the Automotive industry, ensuring they function according to specifications.
- Problem Solving : Determine and execute corrective actions for installation errors, customer-specific changes, or unforeseen challenges, coordinating with your supervisor as necessary.
- Customer Interaction : Manage customer relationships by meeting scheduling expectations, addressing their concerns, and handling delays or project changes with professionalism and tact.
- Technical Communication : Collaborate and communicate with Product Management and R&D teams to relay feedback, provide technical insight, and help drive continuous improvement of products.
- Reporting : Document and report system status, job progress, and any technical issues to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
- Customer Support & Training : Provide training to customers on the operation and maintenance of the system, ensuring they can confidently use and care for the technology.
- System Analysis & Troubleshooting : Perform in-depth system analysis, identify technical issues, and troubleshoot to ensure seamless system functionality.
- Maintenance & Service : Conduct routine service, maintenance, system checks, and optimizations of installed systems, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.
Qualifications
Engineer or Engineering technician - mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or automation engineering (or comparable qualification)Proven experience in system installation, commissioning, and maintenance, preferebly in the Automotive or industrial robot sectorStrong technical expertise in automation, robotiics or vision systemsExcellent problem-solving abilities and experience with troubleshooting complex systemsProficient iin reading and interpreting technical manuals and instruction guidesDriver's license / Willingsness to travel at least 50 % of the time after trainingStrong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work well with customers and internal teamsFluent in English and SpanishBenefits
