As part of our Clinical Affairs team, you’ll hone your scientific curiosity and passion for evaluating data to increase access to pioneering technologies for patients in need. In close partnership with principal investigators, dedicated medical professionals, patient advocacy groups, and regulatory authorities, you will drive the evidence needed to optimize patient outcomes.

How you will make an impact :

  • Draft and negotiate contracts associated with clinical trials, ensure contracts comply with regulations and manage the lifecycle of contracts.
  • Prepare initial contract drafts; redline and negotiate contracts based on knowledge of financial, regulatory and clinical requirements.
  • Build trial budgets with clinical sites to ensure compliance with company-approved guidelines and alignment with fair market value utilizing approved budget templates.
  • Negotiate contracts and trial budgets with external partners in accordance with local regulations.
  • Manage contracts administration through corporate-required platforms and department trackers, including status updates, repository maintenance, data input, report generation, and report analysis.
  • Submit proposed final draft and supporting documentation utilizing Edwards-qualified systems for contract approval and secure appropriate signatures within specified signing authority.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Clinical Affairs, Legal, and Compliance, and external partners to obtain or clarify data required for contracts.
  • Other incidental duties as assigned by leadership.

What you'll need (Required) :

Bachelor's Degree in related field and 1 year experience in contract negotiation / administration is required.

Experience in healthcare related contracts is preferred.

What else we look for (Preferred) :

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (German will be considered a big plus).
  • Ability to build productive internal / external working relationships.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Moderate knowledge and understanding of procedures relevant to contract negotiation and administration.
  • Moderate knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare compliance and privacy regulations.
  • Moderate understanding of regulatory requirements and documents.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Strict attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels. Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects.
