Java Developer (Calypso)

Contract | 3–5 Years Experience | Bilingual Spanish & English

📍 Location & Availability

• Based in Madrid or able to work on-site
• Two days per week required at our Madrid offices (remaining days remote)

We’re looking for a talented Freelance Java Developer with solid hands-on experience in Calypso to support a key project within our financial technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high-performing group on impactful deliverables in the trading and risk management space.

✅ What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and enhance Java-based components within the Calypso platform
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Support integration, testing, and troubleshooting activities
• Contribute to architectural discussions and best practices

✅ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional Java development experience
• Fluent in both Spanish and English (written & spoken)
• Proven experience with the Calypso platform (configuration, workflows, customizations, or integration)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
