We are looking for a
Tool Expert – Integration & Doc-as-Code
to join an international project for a
leading German company in the automotive sector . You will be part of a multicultural engineering team, working on the continuous improvement of documentation and integration workflows within a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) environment.
Core Responsibilities
Design and improve doc-as-code workflows , maintaining and extending Sphinx-Needs modules and ensuring compatibility with the latest upstream releases.
Develop and operate integration layers
that connect different MBSE tools (e.g., IBM DOORS Next, Rhapsody) via APIs and ReqIF, ensuring synchronization and traceability between engineering artifacts.
Enhance documentation processes
to integrate MBSE artifacts and achieve model-aligned, traceable documentation workflows.
Maintain an internal starter project
for Sphinx-Needs configurations within the MB context, including templates, training materials, and community guidance.
Collaborate with internal and open-source communities , coordinating merge requests and fostering adoption of doc-as-code best practices.
Required Experience
Several years of experience in
tool development or process automation , ideally within
regulated environments
(automotive, aerospace, etc.).
Strong
Python skills , with experience working with
REST APIs
and
data formats
(ReqIF, JSON, XML, YAML).
Knowledge of
automotive frameworks
(ASPICE, SAFe) and
functional safety standards
(ISO 26262).
Familiarity with
Bash scripting
and Linux-based environments.
Excellent
communication and teamwork skills .
Full professional
proficiency in English .
Location : 100% Remote (Spain)
Schedule :
Flexible hours, with short Fridays
Language :
English (working language) — Spanish B2 is a plus
