Job Purpose
Lead, develop and manage the revenue management ecosystem in accordance with Vueling policy and with the objective of ensuring revenue maximization.
Main Accountabilities
- Guarantee the stability and effectiveness of system operations.
- Ensure the maximization of revenue.
- Optimize revenue processes and tasks.
- Have the best functionalities of external providers' systems.
- Make the department managed a better place to work.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
Oversee and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders so that the revenue ecosystem works correctly.Address system inefficiencies to ensure transparency, accountability, and optimize revenue outcomes to maximize revenue gains.Drive initiatives to automate processes and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the revenue team's workflows.Be the point of contact with the external provider of revenue systems.Organize and lead the team, fostering their development, collaboration, and communication both within the team and across the company.Main Relationships
IT and Data, External Providers (Navitaire and Accelya), Commercial, Network, Customer, Sales, and Operations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT or a related field.Experience
Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in revenue management or a related field.Experience in team management (coaching, leading).Experience liaising with IT on bug fixes and systems developments, as well as vendor management.Ability to use data querying (SQL) tools, while experience with end-user BI tools is preferable.Programming languages such as Python.Experience in airline reservation systems, preferably Navitaire.Competencies
