The opportunity

As the Lead Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and design strategy for our generative AI products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, impactful, and visually stunning designs that leverage the power of AI to solve real-world problems. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a passion for AI-driven innovation, and the ability to lead our process, standards and rituals within the team. Our Generative AI team will act as a central hub, collaborating with existing teams to deliver GenAI-enabled solutions within their scopes, identifying and leading new GenAI initiatives, and building the backend architecture to serve GenAI models at scale, all while controlling costs. This position is part of our "Platform" organization. In Platform, our mission is to build systems, tools, and capabilities that empower all our product teams to deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers.

This position is based in Spain and Portugal, preferably Barcelona and Lisbon.

What you will be doing

• Lead the design vision, process and strategy for generative AI projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and user needs.
• Define and visualize current and future customer experiences with relevant artifacts such as service standards, frameworks, personas, maps and blueprints, and customer experience strategies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, researchers, and business partners to build coherent end-to-end services.
• Lead design practice rituals and establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Rapidly design, prototype, and test concepts for services and products based on a deep understanding of business and customer needs.
• Plan and lead co-creation workshops with product teams, collaborators, and business partners.
• Communicate and influence design decisions. Communicate and present design work to the team for review and feedback to drive decisions and commit to final UX deliverables. Champion the values of experimentation, design, and product experience quality across the company and the leadership teams.
• Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and AI.
