Location : Hybrid – Must be available in Barcelona office 2 days per week (Thursdays & Fridays)

Duration : 3 Months (with potential extension)

Engagement : Contract

Rate : €345 / day

✅ Legally authorised to work in Spain (including willingness to undergo background checks, including credit checks.)

Opus is partnering with a leading global client whose eCommerce team, We’re looking for a Contract React Developer to play a key role in modernising their Commerce Storefront , currently based on Spartacus and SAP Commerce , using React, TypeScript, and Next.js .

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale digital initiatives , building high-performance, scalable solutions that optimise both performance and cost .

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain a robust frontend codebase using React, TypeScript, and Next.js .

Build reusable components and ensure responsive, modular architecture.

Write unit and end-to-end tests to maintain quality.

Collaborate closely with UX designers and backend teams.

Deploy enhancements and contribute to product strategy alongside stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For :

Experience in frontend development with React and TypeScript .

Proficiency in Next.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Experience with responsive design , CI / CD pipelines , and testing frameworks.

Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
