We are seeking top talent to join our team at UST, a multinational company based in North America. Position : Java Engineer

Work Location : 100% remote for candidates based in Spain.

Main responsibilities include :

  • Integrating complex IT systems involving multiple technologies.
  • Developing APIs capable of handling thousands of requests per second reliably.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications for banking services.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Qualifications :

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and systems.
  • Proficiency in Java (version 8 or higher) and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring State Machine.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and Kafka.
  • Knowledge of TDD and BDD methodologies.
  • Experience with AWS services like EKS, MSK, Lambda, and ECR.
  • Proficient in JUnit for testing.
