We are looking for a Transaction Monitoring Analyst to join our team for a multinational leader in the banking sector .

• Support the Financial Crime Operations team by analysing alerted transactions, clients and counterparties.
• Conduct enhanced due diligence investigations into global client activity.
• Use various internal systems and 3rd-party databases to perform investigations.
• Gather and assess client identity and economic activity data to identify suspicious behaviour.
• Process and categorize data (especially for correspondent banking transactions).
• Document and justify whether suspicious activity is identified.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AML investigations or related fields like Fraud.
• Strong understanding of money laundering and terrorism financing risks and typologies.
• Experience in Financial Services industry with knowledge of Corporate and Correspondent Banking.
• Strong analytical and financial interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using TM tools like Norkom, ThetaRay, AMLcheck, Actimize, and databases like Dow Jones, World Check.
• Excellent Spanish and English writing and reporting skills (minimum B2).
