What you will do
The Country HR Manager will be part of the Global HR organization and work closely with the local Country Management for Spain and Portugal to support the achievement of organizational and country goals and objectives through the development, implementation and management of HR activities :
- Steer Talent Acquisition in the country and drive HR marketing activities to attract IT talent.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation including provision of information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
- Provide consulting and support to employees and managers in all employment related matters (e.g. employment conditions, applicable labor laws, internal HR regulations and processes, absence, etc.) and promote HR programs.
- Ensure optimal and up to date local HR policies, processes and tools (in line with global HR and / or local requirements and legislation) and ensure they are correctly executed within the local organization including proper documentation.
- Manage the company’s compensation and benefit plans including annual compensation review, salary benchmark and benefits optimization.
- Employee Engagement - work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Undertake tasks around performance management such as calibration sessions.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
What we are looking for
Successfully completed university studies in business administration or a comparable qualification or degree.Relevant professional experience in a similar role ideally gained in the IT industry and familiar with international working environment.Good knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese Employment & Labor Law regulations and payroll processing.Independent and thorough way of working and attention to detail.Aptitude in problem-solving and desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.Strong service and result orientation, excellent communication and organizational skills.Fluent in Spanish and English and ideally in Portuguese.What we offer
