The Green Recruitment Company is in the search of a BESS Project Engineer to join a leading Solar PV and BESS Manufacturer.
The ideal candidate will act as the technical lead during the execution phase of energy storage projects across Europe.
Will work closely with Project Managers, the Sales Engineering team, and After-Sales Managers to ensure customer requirements are fully met and provide valuable product feedback. Your role will be critical in the integration of systems and hands-on technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the technical integration of BESS equipment throughout the execution phase of each project.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the utility-scale energy storage market across Europe.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Project Managers to identify client needs and deliver customized technical solutions.
- Develop project execution procedures, including health and safety (H&S) protocols.
- Deliver technical training to customers during project implementation.
- Stay informed on market trends, technologies, and competitors in the BESS utility segment.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience; prior exposure to the BESS utility market in Europe is a plus.Strong technical knowledge of battery energy storage systems and associated technologies.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.Fluent in English;and languages is an advantage.Willingness to travel as required.Preferred Profile :
You’ll work side-by-side with the Project Manager, supporting execution, testing, and commissioning activities.Ideal candidates may have experience in EMS (Energy Management Systems) integration, battery systems, or come from a strong electrical background.Prior roles in after-sales support or with EMS vendors (e.g. Huawei) are highly valued.Experience in the solar or energy control sectors is also a strong advantage.
