A global logistics and warehousing organization specializing in the storage, handling, and transportation of commodities and finished goods. The company operates across multiple international regions, with semi-autonomous offices managing their own finance, operations, HR, and legal functions. Group Finance centrally manages accounting policies, consolidated financial reporting, and audit oversight across the organization.

Purpose of the Role

  • Lead the finance and management reporting function at the country level.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and relevant financial information for stakeholders.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the local leadership team, supporting profitability, financial control, and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial and management reports in line with IFRS and internal group policies.
  • Supervise the local finance team and coordinate with regional and global finance functions.
  • Streamline and improve financial workflows, processes, and reporting.
  • Establish and monitor internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee treasury operations and cash flow management.
  • Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
  • Provide analysis of financial results, KPIs, trends, and business drivers.
  • Support business planning and act as a financial advisor to the General Manager and department heads.
  • Manage the external audit process.
  • Liaise with tax authorities, legal consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and mentor finance team members.

  • Candidate Profile

    Qualifications :

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a multinational environment
  • At least 3 years of proven managerial experience
  • Technical Experience :

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
  • Experience with taxation and transfer pricing
  • Familiarity with large ERP systems (Oracle highly preferred; SAP or Microsoft Dynamics acceptable)

  • Experience in the logistics or supply chain sector
  • Exposure to M&A projects
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Travel : Some regional travel is required.
