Night Sous Chef - Ejy-853

The DO&CO team keeps growing and that's why we are currently recruiting for an experienced Night Sous Chef to be based in our Production Unit in Madrid.

What You’ll Be Doing

The role of Sous Chef will be fundamental in supporting the Executive Head Chef in the production unit, being in charge of ensuring that the airline catering production is carried out in a timely manner, while maintaining our high-quality standards.

A day as Night Sous Chef

• Ensure increased innovation in our dishes
• Lead the kitchen production team, prioritise, distribute and supervise the different tasks assigned to the kitchen teams for a punctual and high-quality production
• Encourage and develop the different working relationships with all areas of production
• Provide support in the planning of the weekly schedules of the kitchen teams, in conjunction with the Executive Head Chef, always taking into account the production levels required by the business
• Supervise the optimal handling of food, cleanliness of the kitchen area and order of production, following all the quality, safety, and hygiene policies of our company
• Check that the CCP registers and other internal quality control procedures are correctly completed
• Act as leader of the operation in the absence of the Executive Head Chef, evaluate and provide feedback on staff performance
• Collaborate and provide support to the Executive Head Chef with executive tasks performed in the office, manage product orders for production development and preparation
