BUSINESS DATA ANALYST (REMOTE)

&##We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to support our Data Platform program, driving requirements gathering, data analysis, and solution design. The BA will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, data engineers, and solution architects to ensure the delivery of high-quality data products and analytics capabilities. You would be working with one of our major international clients, a British financial company.

&##Location : 100% remote for people based in Spain

&##5 years of experience as a Business Data Analyst , preferably in data-driven projects.

~ Strong understanding of data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses , and ETL / ELT processes.

~ Hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis.

~ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and modern data tools.

~ Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).

~ English C1

&##Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data platform initiatives.

Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.

Work closely with data engineers, architects, and developers to design scalable data solutions.

Support data migration, data governance, and data quality initiatives.

Contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and testing activities in Agile environments.

Ensure alignment of delivered solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements

&##Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

Understanding of BI & analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

Exposure to AI / ML data initiatives.
