Job Purpose :

Aliaxis is transforming its logistics in EMEA through modernization, digitization, and establishing a Control Tower to monitor performance, coordinate actions, and manage trade compliance. The role involves managing this transformation, driving optimization projects, and linking procurement to transportation and sales to optimize service levels.

Qualifications :

  • Preferably a university degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or related fields.
  • 3-8 years of experience in Central Transportation Control Tower operations and supply chain management.
  • Analytical skills (MS Excel).
  • Lean, Operations Management certification.
  • Technical skills in Project Management, Planning, Transportation Management.
  • Fluency in Spanish, German, and English.
  • Highly reliable, energetic, and motivated.
  • Structured and analytical working approach.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment.

    • Key responsibilities :

    Transportation Management :

  • Support the rollout of Transportation Management System (“TMS”) in EMEA.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams for efficient transportation.
  • Use tracking systems to monitor goods and address issues.
  • Analyze transportation data for improvements.

    • Transportation Planning :

  • Develop and implement transportation plans to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement agreements and handle unplanned transport events.
  • Support logistics ad hoc tasks and ensure regulatory compliance.

    • Reporting :

  • Prepare and present transportation performance reports.
  • Manage KPIs, logistics issues, claims, and continuous improvements.

    • Compliance :

  • Ensure transportation activities comply with regulations and policies.
  • Control costs and verify invoices.
