Senior Native Mobile App Developer (Offshore)

  • Location : Offshore / Remote
  • Working Hours : UK business hours, 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri, weekly
  • Pay Rate :  Up to £2000 GBP per month , fixed
  • Employment Type : Full-time Freelance Contract (40hrs per week)
  • Language Requirements :  Must be fluent in English both verbally in writing
  • Start Date :  January 2025 start
  • Project Duration :  6+ months ( estimated ), high likelihood of renewal

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Native Mobile App Developer to join our remote team.

Role Overview

This role is perfect for an experienced developer who excels in both native iOS development using Swift and native Android development using Java. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, demonstrating working software, and serving as a senior or lead mobile developer within a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality native mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Collaborate directly with stakeholders to elicit and clarify requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals.
  • Demonstrate working software to stakeholders , incorporating feedback into iterative development.
  • Take the lead in mobile development projects , ensuring alignment with industry best practices, and guide less experienced team members.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes.
  • Participate in code reviews , providing and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile app development to ensure forward-thinking solutions.

  • 5+ years of comprehensive experience in native mobile app development, with expertise in both Swift for iOS and Java for Android.
  • Proven ability to engage with stakeholders effectively and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Exceptional ability to deliver high-quality software within deadlines.
  • Fluent proficiency in English , both written and verbal.
  • Ability and willingness to work within UK timezone business hours.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset towards challenges.
