Full-Stack Developer Typescript / Rust (f / m / d) in Spain

Join us to apply for the role of Full-Stack Developer Typescript / Rust (f / m / d) at PULT.

We are seeking a talented full-stack software engineer to join our small, highly skilled product team. Our focus is on building innovative products swiftly, maintaining high standards of code quality and user experience, and staying at the forefront of new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop features end-to-end, working across frontend, backend, and integrations to solve problems and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Create attractive and user-friendly UIs using React (NextJS, ES11, TypeScript) and TailwindCSS.
  • Enhance our distributed backend with Node (NestJS + TypeScript) and Rust, utilizing PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
  • Integrate various services and APIs, even if unfamiliar initially.
  • Develop scalable solutions mindful of growth and deployment timelines.
  • Address technical debt and ensure the codebase remains maintainable, robust, and safe.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with proficiency in Typescript, React, and a strong interest or experience in Rust. We value overall engineering skill over specific language or framework expertise.
  • Ability to design intuitive, high-quality web UI experiences by empathizing with users.
  • Commitment to high-quality, reliable, and scalable code for long-term use.
  • Proactive learning attitude and desire to improve and excel.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and versatility as a generalist.
  • DevOps experience including CI / CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and other tools.
  • Experience with distributed systems, scaling applications, and microservices architecture.
  • College degree is not mandatory but appreciated.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Hands-on Rust experience.
  • Knowledge of functional programming paradigms.
  • Experience working in early-stage startups and scaling engineering teams.
