Excellent visual design skills and a strong understanding of product design principles and best practices. Extensive experience with design tools such as Figma and Figjam. Experience with user research methodologies and service design. Expert knowledge and experience contributing to design systems. At Hays, we are looking for a Product Designer for the Digital Solutions unit, reporting to the Head of Digital Transformation. The opportunity is for a global energy sector company specializing in digital technologies for utilities worldwide.
What you will do :
As a Product Designer in the Digital Solutions department, you will be responsible for all activities related to :
- Leading design efforts on complex and high-impact projects, delivering exceptional product experiences.
- Directly participating in the delivery of the product roadmap, ensuring design alignment with business objectives, technological definitions, and user needs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX researchers, and engineers, to ensure seamless integration of product design.
- Overseeing the governance and evolution of the design system, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards.
- Conducting and interpreting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Facilitating workshops to promote design thinking and innovation.
- Mentoring and providing feedback to other designers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Developing and implementing processes for efficient transition from design to development.
- Advocating for the user and ensuring user-centered design principles are applied throughout the product development process.
