Sales Account Manager (m / f / d) Southern Europe

We are seeking a highly motivated Arabic-speaking Sales Account Manager to oversee and develop our client base in Southern Europe, consisting of Channel Partners and OEM. The region focus includes Spain, Italy, Algeria, and the Mediterranean Sea.

The role requires a deep understanding of the region’s business landscape and is preferably based in Spain or Italy. The successful candidate will report to the Sales Director for South Europe, based in France. Responsibilities include managing relationships with existing Channel Partners, driving new business development, and identifying growth opportunities.

Dresser Utility Solutions is a leading provider of measurement, instrumentation, piping solutions, and over-pressure protection devices for the natural gas and utility markets, including water, gas, and electric sectors worldwide. Our portfolio includes gas metering and volume correction devices, pipeline integrity solutions, pressure regulators, high-performance pressure relief devices, chemical injection pumps, and electric actuators.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Client Management : Maintain and grow relationships with key channel partners in Southern Europe, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • New Business Development : Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and convert leads into long-term clients.
  • Market Analysis : Understand market trends, customer needs, and competitors to position our products effectively. Ensure the product portfolio is regionally certified.
  • Sales Strategy : Collaborate with the Sales Director to define and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the market.
  • Reporting : Track sales performance, report forecasts and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with sales peers, product managers, and the sales admin team based in Germany.
  • Travel : Regular travel within the region for client visits and industry events.

Qualifications :

  • Fluency in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales or account management role, ideally within the energy or gas industry.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skilled negotiator with commercial and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrable initiative-taking and problem-solving abilities.
