eDreams ODIGEO, a leading European online travel company and a top-tier Google advertiser, is seeking a strategic and business-oriented SEM Performance Manager, directly reporting to the SEM Performance and Operations Lead. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to drive significant impact across our Search Engine Marketing program – one of the largest and most sophisticated Worldwide, as well as work directly with dedicated teams in Google and Microsoft ads.

As our SEM Performance Manager, you will take ownership of critical strategic initiatives, oversee and ensure the successful delivery of budgetary objectives and contribute to the overarching SEM strategy through continuous analysis uncovering pockets of opportunity to optimize performance.

You will act as a key business owner for structural projects, collaborating closely with our marketing technology and product teams. This role demands exceptional communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of how bidding works as well as a proven ability to drive impactful results.

What you will do :

The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a SEM Performance Manager in the Revenue Management you will be in charge of :

  • Own and champion strategic initiatives and specific scopes, such as market subsets or key projects, contributing to the development and refinement of the overall Search Engine Marketing strategy while ensuring alignment with business objectives, market dynamics, and performance targets.
  • Drive business growth through continuous analysis : proactively and autonomously review and analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement – keep an eye on the detail to spot opportunities while being able to abstract data to enable high level decisions.
  • Support the development and implementation of advanced bidding strategies and ensure operational excellence through process optimization and best practice implementation as part of the SEM trading team.
  • Act as a key business owner for strategic structural projects, working closely with marketing technology and product teams. Champion the business perspective through proactive engagement and constructive challenge, driving cross-functional alignment toward company goals.
  • Leverage audience insights to shape campaigns, contributing to our unique 7 Million Member Prime subscription program and proposing strategic initiatives for its growth.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights are mandatory.
  • Extensive experience in Search Engine Marketing, with a proven track record delivering meaningful positive impacts to the P&L and driving strategic projects to achieve measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of SEM platforms, bidding strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.

  • High business acumen and understanding of digital marketing principles, with an ability to abstract and see the big picture.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a proactive, forward-thinking approach and always anticipating the next step.
  • Fluent in English; additional European-based language is a plus.
