We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic junior software developer who is committed to helping us make the world a better place. You will join our Developer Experience Team.

The Mission of the Developer Experience Team is to improve the developer experience for all engineers at Back Market.

Our goal is to ensure Back Makers have the right tools, processes, and environment to maximize productivity and code without friction or toil. We make it easy for Squads to focus on their highest purpose and create the highest value by eliminating repetitive tasks, improving alignment on code and config standards and solving common problems through automation.

To conclude, our mission is to create, adapt & maintain a fully automated tools chain and workflows for developers in contrary of being the implicit owners of everything not-owned.

YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF :

• You are a master’s degree student studying computer science, priority to backend engineering.
• You have knowledge of basic coding languages (C, C++, Java) and ideally Python.
• You have basic programming experience (github, personal projects, student projects, other internships).
• You have knowledge of databases and operating systems, Linux is a plus.
• You have the ability to learn new software and technologies quickly, being curious about the coding environment you’ll evolve in.
• You are detail-oriented and have the desire and ability to work in a team in an international environment.
• You are fluent in English - French and / or Spanish is a plus.
• You are looking for a 6 month, full-time role (35h / week), internship (March 2025 - September 2025) based in Barcelona, Spain.
• Your school can provide an internship agreement & you are authorized to work in Spain (EU Nationality or in possession of valid student visa / work permit).
