The main purpose of the role is to drive market access, sales growth, and advocate development of Incyte’s products and services within territory priority accounts. Key customers will include doctors, associated medical personnel, and relevant payers / administrators to achieve territory objectives and align with the organization's business goals, working within the ABPI code, applicable compliance / legal requirements, and company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapeutic information on products in line with marketing strategy.
  • Promote INCYTE IAI Dermatology product to prescribing dermatologists, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies, and according to marketing and sales strategies.
  • Create formal networks with key decision-makers within the territory and with important local players; use these contacts appropriately to develop district business within compliance and legal requirements and company policy.
  • Conduct market surveillance to gain and share customer insights.
  • Perform local marketing and sales analyses and gather patient flow insights.
  • Organize and conduct regional promotional meetings for physicians and stakeholders.
  • Manage professional relations with opinion leaders.
  • Develop and execute customer and account business plans within key accounts to ensure patient access to Incyte Pharmaceuticals medicines.
  • Understand and map local and regional funding, clinical, and access decision processes, identifying all key stakeholders.
  • Ensure a favorable local access environment to maximize sales potential and drive growth.
  • Document and report daily activities, routine administration, and finances.
  • Participate in congresses, meetings, and physician trainings.
  • Work effectively as a team player, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain curiosity and pursue lifelong learning to update commercial knowledge and strategies.
  • Find innovative solutions for barriers and challenges through creative thinking.
  • Manage and own personal development plans.
  • Contribute to a culture of business integrity and ethics.
  • Act within compliance, legal requirements, and company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Life Sciences Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Over 5 years of experience promoting specialist pharmaceutical products, preferably in dermatology.
  • Proven track record in specialist sales.
  • Experience or understanding of Market Access and NHS environment is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Good IT skills.
