MISSION OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic, results‑oriented Digital Growth Executive for a strategic role focused on expanding our IT and digital solutions portfolio in the Retail / Energy sector or Telco. This position plays a key part in shaping our growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and delivering tailored digital and IT solutions.
This is not just a sales role — it's a strategic position that requires market insight, long‑term thinking, and the ability to align customer needs with our evolving service offerings.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly motivated, and experienced in the IT industry, with a deep understanding of digital transformation solutions for the Retail / Energy sector or Telco. The candidate must be able to grasp complex technology offerings and clearly articulate their value to a variety of stakeholders. A consultative, customer‑centric approach and a proven ability to build strong, lasting business relationships are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. New Business Development
- Identify, research, and target prospective clients through various channels.
- Proactively generate leads and convert them into qualified opportunities, with a strong focus on net new customer acquisition.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute a personal sales plan aligned with company growth targets, focused on digital and IT solution offerings, for the Retail / Energy sector or Telecommunication sector.Maintain a full pipeline across different stages of the sales cycle with consistent deal progression.Take ownership of the full sales cycle – from lead generation to proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.Conduct needs assessments and discovery meetings to understand client challenges, business goals, and digital maturity.Position and tailor digital solutions to meet customer business needs.Act as a trusted advisor to the customer, demonstrating an understanding of their business and articulating the value of our solutions clearly.4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with pre‑sales, technical consultants, solution architects, and delivery teams to design and validate proposed solutions.Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns and events aimed at lead generation and brand awareness.Coordinate with Operations and Delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and adoption post‑sale.5. Market & Industry Insight
Continuously monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to position our solutions effectively in the Retail / Energy sector or Telecommunication sector.Stay updated on product offerings, internal processes, and industry certifications through continuous learning.Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of opportunities, activities, and customer interactions.Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.Track key sales metrics (e.g., conversion rates, sales cycle length) and identify areas for improvement.7. Representing the Company
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings as required.Uphold and promote the company’s values, mission, and brand image in all external interactions.REQUIREMENTS
10 years of experience in B2B sales in the IT / digital solutions, infrastructure, or software industry for the Retail / Energy sector or Telecommunication sector.
Proven track record of new business acquisition and meeting / exceeding sales targets.Strong understanding of the IT market and digital transformation solutions.Familiarity with energy sector regulations, emerging trends in sustainability and digital transformation, and the compliance landscape around environmental standards, safety, and energy trading.Familiarity with telecom regulations, emerging connectivity trends, and the evolving landscape of data privacy, security, and compliance.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Self‑starter with a proactive and result‑oriented approach to sales.Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and translate them into business value.We look forward to reviewing your application and exploring how your experience can contribute to our team’s success.
