How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Your mission in this position will be to coordinate a team of buyers located in Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, with the aim of leading the purchasing strategy by categories and ensuring the supply of local purchases for various entities.

To achieve these objectives, the specific functions to be developed will be :

  • Execute and lead contracting :

Coordinate buyers to execute the supply strategy or follow the defined procedures set by category managers.

  • With the team of buyers, develop a set of supply strategies for categories not managed by the Category Manager.
  • Play the role of buyer in specific strategic situations (large investments, major accounts, etc.).
  • Execution and management of contracts :

    • Support in advising for the understanding of contracts to internal clients and other key figures locally for proper deployment and execution in the company.

  • Conduct reviews to ensure and track the correct execution of the contract locally.
  • Review overall contractual compliance.
  • Prepare reviews of purchasing channels.
  • Ensure contract management (application of price increase formulas, collection of volume discounts, management of product and service portfolio, progress clauses, renewal, etc.), including updating the procurement database (contracts, catalogs...).
  • Support the management of incidents and claims to suppliers.
  • Supplier relationship management :

    • Develop the use of CRM to improve overall relationships and procurement efficiency.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers (warranties, penalties, claims, supplier reviews, performance, and risk management with the European Purchasing Director in case of complex situations).
  • Facilitate the presentation of key suppliers to company stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate the mapping of supplier qualification and audit reports.
  • Contribute to identifying and mitigating supplier risks to ensure compliance with the risk map.
  • Stakeholder management :

    • Develop and manage relationships with internal clients (BL, Functions).

  • Evaluate internal client feedback on supply strategies.
  • Evaluate internal client feedback on supplier performance and make decisions based on it.
  • Continuous Improvement :

    • Encourage the team to create operational efficiency plans and KPI measurements.

  • Conduct periodic surveys to measure internal client opinions for continuous improvement.
  • Develop a corrective action plan to improve supplier performance (e.g., supplier development programs, progress plans, etc.) and track progress.
  • Encourage the team to identify opportunities to automate orders (catalogs, open orders, etc.).
  • Reporting :

    • Ensure tracking and compliance with national objectives, in collaboration with Category Managers.

  • Present periodic activity reports to management on actual and expected savings related to your area.

    You will be the ideal candidate for this position if you meet the following requirements :

  • Master's degree or similar higher education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement Management positions.
  • Experience in team management. Highly valued if they are located in various countries.
  • Essential : Proficiency level English.
  • Results-oriented and focused on internal clients.
