Account Executive (m / w / d) - remote in Spain (ID : kq3), Madrid

Our partner is a German Series A startup in the field of quantum computing (deep tech) . The company specializes in developing quantum algorithms tailored to specific applications and hardware. Their solutions support industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and financial services. The goal is to make practical quantum computing accessible by significantly reducing the time to achieve quantum advantage for real-world applications.

In December 2023, the company successfully raised over €9 million in seed funding led by renowned venture capital investors.

Tasks

  • Lead generation : Use innovative inbound and outbound sales strategies focusing on the Spanish market.
  • Sales strategy : Test and implement sales strategies in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Full Cycle Role : Approach inbound leads and actively contact potential clients, offering all products (MVPs, platform memberships, projects).
  • Strategic relationships : Build strong relationships with executives, R&D specialists, and project managers.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration : Work closely with technical, marketing, and legal teams to understand customer needs and gain insights into product development.

Requirements

  • Sales experience : Over 2 years in a start-up or deep tech environment, with experience closing complex deals (sales cycles of 3-12 months, average ticket €50-€500k).
  • Academic qualifications : Degree in economics (business administration, sales, marketing) or natural sciences (physics, chemistry, materials science), or comparable qualifications.
  • Start-up mindset : Action-oriented, adaptable, and willing to take on various roles in a dynamic environment.
  • Language skills : Excellent command of English (C1-C2) and Spanish (C2).
  • Additional benefits : Experience or good understanding of quantum computing or software is a strong advantage but not required.
