to join one of our most exciting finance-related projects to date. You'll play a key role in the functional design of a scalable, event-driven subledger system that powers real-time financial accuracy across the entire transaction lifecycle. The Role

You’ll take the lead on defining how financial events (sales, fees, FX, taxes, etc.) are modeled, processed, and integrated into a scalable subledger platform for a major PSP. That means : Driving requirement-gathering workshops with stakeholders in finance, product, ops, and engineering Owning the end-to-end functional design of the subledger — data models, rules, FX events, fees, taxes, and more Designing real-time event-driven logic to keep balances in sync across platforms Mapping data between source systems and the new ledger, including required transformations Defining integration points with upstream / downstream systems (GL, payment gateways, reporting...) Writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development Being the go-to person for the dev team : clarify, guide, support — repeat Helping QA teams create test plans and support UAT Maintaining world-class documentation — specs, flows, diagrams, and more Bridging the technical-business gap with crystal-clear communication Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across processes and data handling

What We Ask For

7+ years in Business Analysis, with senior-level experience Strong track record in financial systems — ideally PSPs, acquirers, or issuers Deep understanding of payment flows, merchant discounting, fees, FX, and subledger logic Proven experience writing functional specs for ledger systems Superb analytical skills — you love deconstructing complex problems Confident communicator across all levels, technical and non-technical Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio (or similar) Comfortable in Agile environments, working closely with dev teams Great documentation skills (you know how to make things clear, visual, and useful)

Knowledge of accounting standards in the payments space Experience with cloud-native financial platforms SQL querying skills for data validation and deep dives
